Tool Day: Since I was a young girl the tools used by us sewers have fascinated me. Let me first explain I am a real TOOL kind of girl. One of those girls you see with drool dripping down her chin and making a little whimpering sound of a woman in love, while staring at sewing machines, accessories, presser feet and the notion department. I was taught the correct way to “fawn” over, baby them and keep them at there best. I was also instructed on the proper way to store my sewing tools, purchasing containers of all kinds to keep them organized. There has of late been a sewing tool revolution with the introduction of rotary cutters, fabric marking pens, embroidery stabilizers, BERNINA’S cutwork tool, JANOME’S new border foot, the list goes on and on and on. STARTING JANUARY 14th. TOOL DAY (more info later).
